Payment Policy
This document clearly and transparently establishes the Payment Policy of ANDINA TRAVEL, in strict compliance with Peruvian regulations applicable to the tourism sector and corporate e-commerce best practices. Our primary objective is to guarantee reliability, transaction security, and total transparency in our pricing structure. This commitment ensures compliance with Law No. 29571 (Consumer Protection and Defense Code) and specific regulations of the Cusco region.
1. Payment and Booking Structure
To ensure the immediate availability of critical services (Machu Picchu tickets and trail network permits), ANDINA TRAVEL requires an initial deposit. The remaining balance must be covered within the established deadlines to facilitate logistical and fiscal management.
- Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% to 50% of the total program value is required, depending on complexity and the required lead time. This payment guarantees the issuance of official nominative tickets.
- Balance Payment: The outstanding balance must be settled in full no later than 48 hours before the start of the service. Failure to meet this deadline will entitle the company to proceed with the cancellation of the service under the conditions of our annulment policies.
- Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings managed less than 72 hours in advance, 100% of the total cost is required to guarantee immediate logistics.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
ANDINA TRAVEL offers secure payment channels adapted to international data protection standards, minimizing fraud risks.
- Credit/Debit Cards (Online): We process Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club through secure gateways (Niubiz or PagoEfectivo). These transactions are subject to bank fees previously disclosed to the client.
- International Bank Transfer: Available for advance payments or groups. The client assumes all transfer costs (fees from sending and intermediary banks).
- Cash Payment (USD / PEN): An exclusive method for the remaining balance, payable at our offices in Cusco under administrative supervision and with the issuance of the statutory receipt.
3. Price Transparency and Additional Charges
We are committed to offering final rates without hidden fees. The quoted price includes taxes (IGV, if applicable) and base operating costs.
- Transaction Fees: Electronic payments are subject to an administrative fee (usually between 3% and 7%), charged by the payment gateway and assumed by the client.
- Exchange Rate: Quotes are issued in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payments in Soles (PEN) are governed by the current exchange rate established by ANDINA TRAVEL on the day of the operation.
- Exclusions: The price does not include tips, travel insurance, visas, or personal expenses unless otherwise specified in the detailed itinerary.
4. Transaction Security and Data Protection
In accordance with Law No. 29733, ANDINA TRAVEL protects your financial information using state-of-the-art protocols.
- SSL Encryption: Web transactions are processed via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connections, ensuring your information travels encrypted to the certified gateway.
- Privacy: Sensitive card data is not stored on our servers. Contact and passport information is used exclusively for the issuance of official tickets.
