Later, we will enjoy a luxury gastronomic experience. You will learn why Peru is a global benchmark for cuisine as you taste dishes that fuse tradition with modern techniques. Every flavor tells a part of our cultural identity.

We will take an early flight to the city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. We will transfer you to your hotel to begin your acclimation. You will have free time to walk through the cobblestone streets and explore local markets filled with color and texture. In the evening, we will share a special welcome dinner. This is the official start of your Andean adventure.

We will dedicate the day to exploring the imperial grandeur of Cusco. We will visit sacred temples such as Qorikancha and tour monumental fortresses like Sacsayhuamán. The city’s viewpoints offer spectacular vistas of the valley. Inca and colonial architecture blend at every corner. You will feel history come alive in every stone of this magical city.

We will travel to the Sacred Valley, where we will see towering mountains and ancient agricultural terraces. We will visit key archaeological complexes such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo. The towns in the valley preserve traditions that seem frozen in time. You will enjoy the serenity of the Urubamba River. We will spend the night in the valley or head to Aguas Calientes, standing at the doorstep of the world wonder.

Today we fulfill the dream of visiting the Inca citadel. We will take a detailed guided tour of Machu Picchu, a site surrounded by lush green mountains and mystical clouds. It will be a day that remains etched in your memory.

We will depart Cusco very early for Vinicunca. We will hike along a trail surrounded by glaciers and alpacas. Upon reaching the summit, you will witness a unique natural spectacle. Frequently Asked Questions

The difficulty level is high, primarily due to the altitude (17,060 ft). While the trail itself is a gradual ascent, the lack of oxygen makes the physical exertion much greater. We strongly recommend at least two days of acclimation in Cusco before taking this tour. If you feel unable to hike, there are horse services managed by the local community available for hire on-site.

Lima is usually humid and temperate, with temperatures between 64°F and 77°F. In contrast, Cusco has a dry climate. Days are sunny and can reach 68°F, but nights are cold, dropping as low as 32°F during the dry season. At Rainbow Mountain, the weather is freezing and can feature strong winds; therefore, thermal clothing is mandatory.

It is a complete immersion into Peruvian cuisine. It includes a visit to a local market to identify unique fruits and products. Afterward, you will visit selected restaurants to taste flagship dishes like Ceviche and Lomo Saltado, along with traditional desserts. You will also learn about the history of Nikkei and Chifa cuisine, which are fundamental to our current culinary identity.

Yes, it is a factor to consider. However, our itinerary is designed to minimize its effects. We include rest time and a progressive schedule of visits to higher elevations. We recommend drinking plenty of water, having coca tea, and avoiding heavy meals during your first few days in the Andes. Our guides carry medical oxygen to assist any traveler if needed.

We use panoramic train services (such as the Vistadome). These cars feature glass ceilings that provide incredible views of the Urubamba canyon and snow-capped peaks. It is a premium travel experience that connects you with the landscape before arriving at the citadel. During the journey, snacks and hot drinks made with local ingredients are served.

The tour runs year-round. However, during the rainy season (December to March), there is a chance the mountain may be covered in snow. While this hides the typical colors, the snowy landscape is equally impressive. In the event of thunderstorms or extreme weather conditions that jeopardize safety, the tour may be rescheduled.

Absolutely. We can adjust the pace of the visits and select hotels that offer better facilities for families. Regarding Rainbow Mountain, we recommend evaluating the endurance of young children due to the extreme altitude. We can offer gentler alternatives in the Sacred Valley that are just as engaging for the little ones.

To guarantee entry tickets to Machu Picchu and the best train schedules, we recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. This is especially important if you plan to travel between May and August, which is high season in Peru. Availability for premium hotels also tends to sell out quickly during these dates.

For city tours and the Sacred Valley, comfortable sneakers are sufficient. However, for Rainbow Mountain, it is vital to wear trekking boots that provide ankle protection. The terrain can be wet, muddy, or have loose stones. Good footwear will prevent slips and provide the stability needed to complete the ascent safely.

Generally, domestic flights between Lima and Cusco allow one checked bag of 50 lbs (23kg) and one carry-on of 17 lbs (8kg). However, for the train segment to Machu Picchu, you are only allowed to bring a small backpack with essentials for one night. The rest of your luggage will be safely stored in our storage facility in Cusco or at your hotel.
